youth outpatient program

Webb And Zapata Counties

About

Outpatient treatment for teens 13 to 17 years of age is available in Webb and Zapata Counties. Outpatient care focuses on meeting the specific needs of adolescents. Since youth are still growing, they need treatment services that they can address their cognitive, emotional, and social needs. Besides focusing on the use of alcohol and drugs, counseling also addresses emotions that can be connected to the use of these substances and strives to help youth manage these emotions. The best results are obtained when parents or other caregivers participate in treatment. Therefore, parents are encouraged to participate in family counseling sessions and parent meetings.
