The Serenidad men’s recovery home is a 26-bed facility for adult men 18 years and older. It is located in South Laredo. It offers individual, group and family counseling. Families are encouraged to visit on the weekend and participate in therapy. The program has intensive and supportive phases. In the intensive phase, the person receives up to 20 hours of therapeutic services. When participants move to the supportive phase, they receive less hours of treatment to allow them to focus on other issues such as gaining employment.
