Serenidad women’s recovery home is a 12-bed facility for adult women 18 years and older that is located in South Laredo. It offers individual, group and family counseling as well as parenting, reproductive health and other services that meet the specific needs of adult women. The facility accepts women who are pregnant. The program focuses also on strengthening the bond they have with their children and encourages family visits. Serenidad Women’s Recovery Home focuses on issues of trauma and other mental health needs that that may reinforce the use of drugs and alcohol.
