The quality assurance (QA)/quality management (QM) process at SCAN, helps monitor the effective and efficient delivery of services provided by all agency programs (prevention, intervention, treatment, recovery support, and other). In addition, the agency’s continuous quality improvement process helps to ensure that each of these programs meets all contractual obligations of funding sources and helps the agency remain in compliance with all accreditation and certification requirements.

The agency has two (2) different teams that provide quality assurance/ management activities:

  1. Prevention, Intervention, and Recovery QA Team and
  2. Treatment QM Team. The teams, which are headed by designated QA/QM Directors, conduct ongoing and coordinated quality improvement activities and meet on a regular basis throughout the year to review the performance of all programs.
