About

Project HOPES (Healthy Outcomes Through Prevention and Early Support) is a home visiting program that provides parent education and support services to caregivers of children 0-5 years old or expecting parents. Project HOPES Program uses the SafeCare Curriculum, which is strength-based and emphasizes improving parent-child interactions, improved health decision-making and providing a safe environment for children. Project HOPES provides services in Webb, Jim Hogg and Zapata counties.

Project HOPES uses the SafeCare curriculum to educate caregivers on three modules: Parent-Child Interaction, Safety, and Health. The skills learned in these modules will help keep children healthy and safe

Case Management

Case Management

Staff uses assertive case management to meet the comprehensive needs of families. As needs are identified, referrals are made to community agencies that can meet the needs of caregivers and their children.
