About

The Frontera HIV and Mental Health Treatment Expansion Project is here to provide mental health counseling, HIV, Hepatitis C testing and referral services to our community at no cost. Our goal is to provide quality mental health services utilizing a holistic approach for all members of our community.

For eligibility, individuals would most likely be struggling with mental health and or substance use. Adults at risk of contracting HIV or Hepatitis C also qualify. Must be 18 and over, all client information is strictly confidential.

Depression is one of the most common mental health conditions that people with HIV face. It can be from mild to severe and its symptoms affect day-to-day activities. Both HIV-related medical conditions and HIV medications can contribute to depression, that is why our program focuses on both components.
