About

The FAYS Family & Youth Success Program is a short-term program that offers services that help develop and strengthen coping skills to restore family stability, build resilience among youth and enhance parental protective factors. Families with youth ages 6-17 or older if the youth is attending high school are eligible for the program if they are dealing with conflict at home, school attendance issues, delinquency, or if a youth runs away from home.

Services & Activities

Mobirise

Individual and Family Counseling

Counseling services provide an evidence-based therapeutic model of counseling designed to reduce conflict and negative behaviors, improve communication, change though patterns, learn acceptance and intervene with a solution-focused, trauma-informed therapeutic approach.

Crisis Intervention

A crisis intervention specialist is on-call and available by cell phone 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Interventions provided may include telephone counseling, face to face intervention or transportation to emergency shelter.

Curriculum-Based Resiliency Education

Individual and family sessions include curriculum-based skills sessions designed to reduce conflict, stress and tension among family members.

Parenting Education

Evidence-based program curriculum delivered to a group of adult caregivers in a class or training setting for the purposes of preventing future disruptions, improving family functioning skills and build resiliency.

Youth Skills Training

Evidence-based program curriculum delivered to a group of youth in a class or training setting for the purposes of preventing future disruptions, improve youth coping skills and build resiliency.

Referrals

Family’s needs are constantly being assessed and referrals for additional services are facilitated as needs are identified.
