To provide awareness and knowledge of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use, abuse, and addiction.
To enhance the ability of the community to more effectively provide prevention, intervention, and treatment services for alcohol, tobacco, and other drug problems.
To influence the incidence and prevalence of substance-related problems in the community by establishing and/or changing written and unwritten standards and attitudes.
To encourage bonding with peers, family, and community to help prevent drug use and promote behavioral health.
To ensure that tobacco retailers comply with federal and state laws and regulations, and to reduce youth access to tobacco products.
