Description:
The Specialized Female Outpatient Program offers trauma-informed and gender specific, community-based substance abuse treatment services for adolescent females who are pregnant or have dependent children (including individuals whose children are in custody of the state). The program provides evidence-based curriculums, such as Matrix and Seeking Safety, offering a trauma-informed substance abuse treatment. Counseling services include addressing gender-specific issues such as relationships, the links between trauma and substance abuse, safe coping skills, parenting education, reproductive health education, as well as case management and referral services. The program implements a strength-based approach and it is culturally-informed, providing services in English and Spanish.

Services/Activities:
The program provides individual, group, and family counseling sessions, case management, parenting classes, family education session, reproductive health education, home visits, random drug screening, HIV testing services, referral and follow-up.
