Description:
SCAN’s Runaway and Homeless Youth Program assists runaway and homeless youth on a short-term basis by helping them make the transition to independent living and providing drug education and prevention services. Runaway and homeless youth often experience difficulty accessing services through conventional means, since they might lack the means or the knowledge to access existing services. One of the strengths of the RHY program is that it provides aggressive outreach efforts in order to engage families in services.
