Description:
The PACT Program provides early drug prevention services to a limited number of students in the second and third grade in Laredo, Texas. Students participating in the program receive curriculum-based resiliency skill training throughout the school year in addition to taking part in drug-free alternative activities and drug-free presentations. The adult family members of students are provided an opportunity to take part in drug-free alternative activities in addition to a three-session family education program that helps adults keep young people drug-free both now and in the future.

Curriculum-based prevention education; drug-free alternative activities; family education sessions; and alcohol, tobacco, and other drug presentations
