
Description:
The Futuros Saludables Program provides peer-to-peer recovery support services that enhance available substance abuse treatment services by promoting recovery, reducing relapse, and intervening early when relapse occurs. The peer-based recovery support services provided by the Futuros Saludables Program will facilitate the provision of comprehensive services to both Adults (18 and over) and Adolescents (12-17) male and female that 1) stress the importance and power of recovery, 2) have been designed with the assistance of people in recovery, 3) rely on people in recovery to help deliver services, 4) emphasize the importance of leadership development, and 5) promote principles of self-care and cultural diversity.

Emotional, instrumental, affiliation, and informational support services; curriculum-based drug prevention education; case management; and referrals
