Description:
The Futuros Positivos Mentoring Program provides long-term one-to-one mentoring relationships between specially trained adult mentors and youth (mentees) that have one or both parents in a correctional facility. Mentors and mentees take part in regularly scheduled bonding activities facilitated by the adult mentor. Individualized service plans are developed to meet the specific needs of each mentee. The input of both the mentor and mentee are encouraged to create the most effective plans possible.
