
Description:
SCAN’s Youth Recovery Home is a gender specific residential substance abuse treatment program for male adolescents ages 13 to 17 who are dependent on drugs and/or alcohol. The Program has two phases: an intensive residential phase and a supportive residential phase.
Services/Activities:
Youth Recovery Home relies on evidence based practices to address substance abuse and dependence problems. Participants are provided with individual, group, family, and action-oriented counseling; on-site academic services; relapse prevention training; HIV/AIDS education; recreational and social activities; case management, referrals, and follow- up.
